A New Word for Wednesday!
autodidactic

An 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 is a person who is self-taught. An 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐜𝐭 learns new knowledge or skills through independent study rather than through formal education or instruction. They often seek out resources such as books, videos, or practical experience to gain expertise in a particular subject or field. Autodidacts don't mind taking a class or consulting an expert but generally prefer learning in a self-directed way.
The Greek root word is autodidaktikos, which means "self-taught."
